THE GG FIELD NOTES

How to build a shortlist someone else can review

A useful shared shortlist preserves evidence and uncertainty, not just a favourite picture.

By GG-skins Editorial · Published 15 October 2026. Original practical checklist; no item-specific rarity or value claim.

Step 1

Select up to four candidates and include full names, exterior, provider and asking price. Add float and seed when supplied. Set a budget before deciding which visual differences matter.

Step 2

Share the comparison link and explain what feedback you want: matching colours, visible wear or whether an exact-item detail is missing. The link restores editable snapshots; it is not an authenticated quote.

Step 3

Ask the reviewer to separate observations from preferences. Revisit the candidate’s page and refresh stock and prices afterwards. A consensus in a shared shortlist does not reserve an item.

Put it into practice

Choose two candidates. Record what is supplied, what you checked directly, and what remains unavailable. Keep their listing links and observation time. Use your notes to explain why one option fits your preference; leave unsupported claims out.
