From IEM Beijing to Kraków: a CS2 viewing roadmap

ESL’s official calendar points toward Beijing in November and Kraków in February. Here is how to plan your viewing without treating early schedules as final.

The next stretch of Counter-Strike viewing already has several milestones on ESL’s official calendar. Checked on 14 October 2026, the organizer lists IEM Beijing for 6–8 November 2026 and IEM Kraków for 4–7 February 2027. These are event dates, not a confirmed timetable for every match; revisit the organizer’s event pages as the dates approach.

For Beijing, ESL lists the Bloomage Biotech·Biohyalux ECM Arena, sixteen teams and a $1.25 million prize pool. Its Kraków entry names Tauron Arena. The same calendar places ESL Pro League Season 25 on 12–14 March 2027. Our purpose here is to organise those published milestones, not to announce new teams, qualification results or broadcast arrangements.

Build a viewing plan in two stages. First, save the event page and block out the listed dates. Then, nearer the event, check individual match start times, your own time zone and the organizer’s official viewing links. A general calendar is useful for planning a weekend; it should not be treated as a substitute for a match-day schedule.

HLTV’s upcoming-match page is a separate reference for individual fixtures and formats. Consult it when you need match-level context, then check the event’s official information for tickets and broadcast details. Fixtures can move, so keep your bookmarks rather than relying on a screenshot captured weeks before the match.

For a more rewarding watch, choose one tactical question before a series: how does the defending side respond to early pressure, or which utility sequence opens a site? Make a short note after a round and compare it with the next attempt. This is our suggested viewing exercise, not a claim about how a particular team will perform.

If a broadcast inspires a new loadout, keep that research separate from tournament predictions. A player’s choice of finish does not establish a future price or rarity premium. Compare the exact skin name, exterior and available item details, and distinguish catalog artwork from an individual item screenshot. GG-skins’s comparison tool can help organise a shortlist; real purchasing and delivery remain disabled.

Keep three links in your viewing notes: the organizer’s event page, the current fixture list and any original broadcast you plan to watch. Check them again on the day. The illustration accompanying this article is original editorial artwork and does not depict an actual tournament moment.
